Abstract: Eight new bis (organosiiy1) hydrazines have been prepared, comprising four sets of 1, l and 1, 2 isomers. Isomeric structural assignments are made based mainiy on a new method involving the splitting between the infrared NH stretching modes, which is greater for 1, l-than for 1, 2-hydrazines. Structures are also assigned for the known bis (trimethylsilyl) hydrazhes, reversing the assignment made previously. 173.
