Abstract

Racemic analogues of platelet activating factor (PAF) in which the alkoxy chain (R=-O (CH2) 16CH3) has been replaced with a chain containing multiple ether linkages near the end (17, R=-O (CH2) eO (CH2) 20 (CH2) 20CH3) or at the beginning (18, R=~(CH~ 2 0 (CH 2) 2 0 (CH~~ CH~) of the chain have been prepared.
