Abstract

2-Me~ hyiquinoline-and 2-arylamino-5, 6, 7, 8-tetrahydroquinoiine-3-carboxylic acid 8- chloroacetylhydrazides IIa-d (Table i) were obtained in yields of 89-100% by the reaction of hydrazides Ia-d with chioroacetyl chloride in glacial acetic acid in the presence of anhydrous sodium acetate. Hydrazides Iia-d are yellow crystalline substances which are soluble in toluene, ethanol, and acetic acid. in their IR spectra there are bands at 1660-1700 (CO) ...
