The interest of this Laboratory in sweetening agents led us to prepare some cyclohexylalkylamines as intermediates in the preparation of salts of cyclohexylsulfamic acid2 (-4.) homologs. Our purpose was to observe the change in sweetness when alkylene groups were placed between the nitrogen atom and the saturated ring.
