Abstract

Further work on the development and investigation of activity and site of action of inhibitors which act presynaptically on neuromuscular function is reported. Terphenyl HC-3 (5c) and a series of six new terphenyl analogues of hemicholinium-3 (HC-3, 1) and acetyl-seco- hemicholinium-3 (AcHC-3, 3a) all having a common terphenyl central nucleus were synthesized.
