Abstract

These transformations can be rationalized in terms of the electron density distribution in the intermediate radical anions. 7 Hence, as an oversimplification, if resonance structures 1 and 2 are considered as most important in their respective cases, the process for fluorine loss in 2 can be visualized. Al-
