Abstract

The reaction of triethylamine with dimethylamine-boron trichloride in benzene solution gave a 73% yield of dimethylaminoboron dichloride. Pyridine with dimethylamine-boron trichloride gave mainly a 1: 1 adduct. There was no reaction between triethylamine and dimethylamine-boron trifluoride, but when dimethylamine-boron Muoride was pyrolyzed, it gave a 31% yield of dimethylaminoboron difluoride dimer, along with the ...
