Abstract

At least 15 secondary metabolites have been isolated from the Indopacific sponge, Dysidea herbacea.'These metabolites belong to a wide variety of structural types including polybrominated diphenyl ethers, 2 nonhalogenated terpenes: and a series of unique polychlorinated metabolites derived from amino acid precursors!
