Melting points were determined on a Reichert micro hot stage and are uncorrected. Ultraviolet spectra were recorded on a Cary 14 spectrophotometer, while infrared spectra were obtained on a Perkin-Elmer 137 spectrophotometer. Proton magnetic resonance spectra of solutions containing tetramethylsilane (6 0.00 ppm) as internal standard were taken on Varian A60 and HA100 spectrometers.
