We have used a combination of electrospray ionization (ESI) mass spectrometry, electrical conductivity measurements, and NMR spectroscopy to investigate the effect of LiCl on solutions of organylzinc halides RZnX (R= Bu, Bn, Ph; X= halogen) and dibutylzinc Bu2Zn in tetrahydrofuran.
