Abstract

Both reaction rate and enantioselectivity in Pseudomonas cepacia lipase (PCL)-catalyzed hydrolysis of 3-hydroxyalkanenitrile acetates were significantly changed by the addition of catalytic amounts of thiacrown ether (1, 4, 8, 11-tetrathiacyclotetradecane).
