Three novel conjugated polymers have been designed and synthesized via the alternative copolymerization of the electron-donating monomer benzodithiophene (BDT) and three different electron-accepting monomers: perylene diimide (PDI), naphthalene diimide (NDI), and phthalimide (PhI).
