Abstract The preparation of 2, 6-difluoroaniline and 1, 2-difluorobenzene from 1, 2, 3- trichlorobenzene is described. An isomeric mixture of 1-chloro-2, 3-difluorobenzene and 2- chloro-1, 3-difluorobenzene is obtained from KF exchange on 1, 2, 3-trichlorobenzene.
