Abstract

There has been considerable interest in the reactions of the 3-membered heterocycles YCHzCHz, where Y= NH (aziridine), 0 (oxirane), and S (thiirane), with transition-metal complexes. Simple coordination of aziridine through the N atom to metal ions has been ob~ erved.~ One 0-bonded oxirane compound, namely [Cp (OC) 3Mo (OCHzCH2)]+, was also rep~ rted.~ Aziridine and oxirane are also known to react with metal hydrido carbonyls5v6 ...
