Summary A series of pyridyl-substituted alkamine ethers has been synthesized from pyridyl substituted carbinols and dialkylaminoalkyl halides. In general, the 2-pyridyl substituted alkamine ethers showed a high order of antihistaminic activity whereas the corresponding 3- pyridyl compounds were relatively less active.
