Abstract A new organosilica hybrid mesoporous material (HM) containing phosphane oxide surface groups was prepared via the “dual” organosilane templated co-condensation of 4- bis (triethoxysilyl) benzene and (diphenylphosphanyl) propyltriethoxysilane, followed by post-synthesis oxidation of the phosphane surface groups.
