Abstract d, l-thia-PAF [d, l-(2-acetoxy-l-octadecylthio)-3-propylphosphorylcholine] 2 was synthesised using a selective method of protection (ClSiMe2t-Bu) and deprotection (BF3- Et2O) of the primary alcohol function.
