In this paper, we report the structural design, synthesis, trypanocidal activity and docking studies of novel quinoxaline-N-acylhydrazone (NAH) derivatives, planned as cruzain inhibitors candidates, a cysteine protease essential for the survival of Trypanosoma cruzi within the host cell.
