Abstract Palladium–diethylzinc or palladium–triethylborane catalytically promotes self- allylation of 2-(allyloxy) tetrahydrofurans, 2-(allyloxy) tetrahydropyrans, and their hydroxy derivatives on the rings (ribose, glucose, mannose, deoxyribose, deoxyglucose).
