Abstract

4-Methylthioamphetamine (4-MTA) is recognised as a 3, 4- methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA)-like drug of abuse. Such amphetamine-type drugs often contain byproducts of uncontrolled, illegal clandestine synthetic processes.
