Abstract: Dialkylaminium cation radical kinetics were studied directly by laser flash photolysis methods. Irradiation of N-hydroxypyridine-2-thione carbamates with 355-nm light gave dialkylaminyl radicals that were protonated to produce dialkylaminium cation radicals.
