Summary The crystal structure of potassium silver carbonate has been determined. The crystal is orthorhombic holohedral, with a.= 30.23 A., bo= 5.75 A., co= 5.95 a. The space group is dL-Ibca. The Ag-0 bond distance was found to be 2.42 A., and this is discussed in relation to other silver salts, including silver carbonate, for which a preliminary structure is given.
