The title compound, C23H26N2O4, consists of a partially hydrogenated acridine moiety with one 2-nitrophenyl substituent on the central ring. The acridine nucleus suffers considerable deviations from planarity. The central ring is in a distorted boat conformation while the two outer rings adopt almost ideal envelope conformations.
