Abstract

Abstract Side chain homologated derivatives of 2-chloro-3-(n-alkylamino)-1, 4- naphthoquinone {n-alkyl: pentyl; L-5, hexyl; L-6, heptyl; L-7 and octyl; L-8} have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR, 1 H NMR, UV–visible spectroscopy and LC–MS.
