Abstract: The three diastereoisomeric 3, 5-dimethylcyclohexanols, the two diastereoisomers of 3-methyl-5-isopropylcyclohexanol and of 3, 5-di-t-butylcyclohexanol in which the alkyl groups are cis, and cis-3-methyl-cis-5-t-buty1-cyclohexanol have been prepared and their structure and stereochemistry have been established.
