Abstract

Abstract The synthesis and spectral characteristics of a bis-spiro compound: 2, 6-bis (4- phenyl-3-δ 1-pyrazolinyl) cyclo-hexanone are reported. Unlike literature reports, this particular δ 1-pyrazoline does not readily rearrange to the 2 isomer on heating. Pyrolysis gives 2, 6-bis (α-methylbenzylidene) cyclohexanone.
