Abstract

A self-decoupled porphyrin with a tripodal anchor has been synthesized and deposited on Au (111) using different wet-chemistry methods. Nanoscale electroluminescence from single porphyrin molecules or aggregates on Au (111) has been realized by tunneling electron excitation.
