Abstract

Abstract A highly efficient approach for the regioselective construction of fused nine- membered rings (diazoninone framework) was developed by employing sequential Ugi and gold-catalyzed intramolecular hydroarylation reactions. The scope of this intramolecular cyclization has been demonstrated.
