Abstract

Linear copolymers of ethylene and acrylonitrile were prepared using palladium complexes bearing phosphine-sulfonate bidentate ligands. Acrylonitrile units located in the linear polyethylene backbones were detected for the first time by 13C NMR spectroscopy.
