Abstract

Summary The direct potentiometric titration of hydrogen peroxide with ceric sulfate has been shown to be accurate in solutions moderately acidified with hydrochloric, sulfuric, nitric or acetic acid. The reverse titration is also accurate in sulfuric and nitric acid solutions. The hydrogen peroxide-ceric sulfate reaction may be applied in the indirect determination of lead peroxide.
