Abstract Highly functionalized (dialkyloxo) indoloazepines10, 11, 34 and the pyrroloazepinoindole35 were prepared via oxidative cleavage of the corresponding spiro- cyclohexene derivative. Tetracycle35 bears carbons and functionalities required for building the new ring system2.
