Abstract

Abstract: Efficient selenolactonization-deselenenylation reaction can be produced by a very small amount of various selenoreagents (ie selenocatalysts). The most efficient catalytic conversion (turnover: a maximum of 1340) was performed using N-phenylselenophthalimide (NPSP). Moreover, even employing a polymer-supported selenocatalyst, the catalytic conversion produced a more than adequate turnover. Key words: catalysis, lactones, ...
