Abstract

Curcumin (1), demethoxycurcumin (2) and bisdemethoxycurcumin (3), the curcuminoid constituents of the medicinal plant Curcuma longa L., have been structurally modified to 55 analogs and antimycobacterial activity against Mycobacterium tuberculosis has been evaluated.
