Abstract

In the reaction of 2, 5-norbornadiene with Na/K alloy and di-treated with F2BN (i-C3H& and Na/K alloy the diborane (4) chloro (diisopropy1amino) borane the species 1 was isolated, derivative 5 and 1, 1, 2, 2-tetrakisborylethane (6) are formed to-which contains six boron atoms in two triborolane rings.
