Abstract

ABSTRACT In this work, the synthesis of dimeric, trimeric and tetrameric D-galactose-based neoglycoconjugates is reported. The monosaccharide ligand was prepared in 5 straightforward steps from D-galactose using the Doebner modification of the Knoevenagel reaction for chain elongation.
