Abstract

E-isomer Z-isomer a Reagents: method A ArCHO, ZnClz in AczO; method B,(a) n-BuLi, MesSiC1,(b) n-BuLi, ArCHO, H+. as it allows the preparation of both the (E)-(8 and 11) and (2)-benzylidene (9, 10, and 13) derivatives.
