Abstract Aminoborazines react with diborane to give aminoborazineboranes which decompose by cleavage of the exocyclic borazinenitrogen bonds. The decomposition products obtained are the corresponding borazines and, according to the side-chain substitution pattern, polymeric or cyclic di-and trimeric BN compounds.
