Abstract

A series of copper (II) and cobalt (II) complexes with novel selenium containing Schiff base ligands obtained from 2-or 3-aminoalkyl phenyl selenides and imidazole carbaldehydes have been synthesized by the interaction of corresponding organic ligands with MCl2· 6H2O (M= Cu, Co).
