A new POSS (polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane)-substituted polyfluorene was synthesized from the nickel-catalyzed Yamamoto coupling reaction. The synthesized polymers could be well characterized by 1H NMR, FT-IR, and elemental analysis.
