Abstract

Further reactions of 4 are summarized in Scheme B. The phosphorodiamidic azide 9 can be used for the preparation of amides under the same conditions as used for the chlo~ ride 4. These reagents may be used to convert a wide variety of triethylammonium and primary aromatic ammonium carboxylates to amides 10 and esters 12.
