Abstract

The experiments showed that hydrazides Ia-d easily undergo the reaction with chloroacetyl chloride in acetic acid in the presence of sodium acetate with the formation of 8- (chloroaeetyl) hydrazides (IIa-d). Heating of the latter with amines in dioxane leads to 8- (dialkylaminoacetyl)-hydrazides of 2-arylaminoacetylaminocinchoninic acids (IIIa-j).
