Abstract

We report the development of a novel, aqueous-soluble, safe, small molecule, experimental therapeutic that suppresses injury-induced, proinflammatory cytokine increases in the brain, with resultant attenuation of synaptic protein biomarker loss and improvement in hippocampus-dependent behavioral deficits.
