The UVphotodissociation of NF2 has been investigated from 240–270 nm, using tunable UV radiation from a frequency upconverted YAG pumped dye laser system. The absorption cross section of NF2, and the photolysis quantum yield for the fragment NF (a 1Δ) were measured with 0.25 cm− 1 resolution.
