α-Isopropyl-α-[3-[3-(3-methoxyphenoxy) propylamino] propyl]-α-phenylacetonitrile derivatives containing various substituents on the benzene ring (A ring) at the phenylacetonitrile moiety were prepared, and their Ca 2+-antagonistic activity was evaluated.
