Abstract

mother liquors from the latter reaction were combined and evaporated to dryness. The product obtained was recrystalliied from a small quantity of water. This proved to be identical with 44 ycarboxypropyl)-2-aminothiazole sulfanilate, which was also produced by heating the free base with sulfanilic acid in a small quantity of water and allowing it to crystallize.
