Abstract

A kinetic study has been conducted on the reaction of (arylthio) trimethylstannanes with 1- aryl-1-bromoethanes. The reaction of the arylbromoethane bearing an electron-donating substituent was found involving unimolecular ionization of the arylbromoethane.
