Abstract

Summary 1. A new crystalline 6-P-gentiobiosido-Pdmannose hendekaacetate has been synthesized by the improved Konigs and Knorr reaction and its physical properties determined. This is the first time that a crystalline 6-linked oligosaccharide acetate containing mannose has been synthesized by this method.
