Abstract

Altogether there is a strong demand for new and efficient methods for the synthesis of the 1,2,3,4-tetrahydroquinoxaline skeleton. Recently, we discovered a new domino process that allows the transformation of allyl 2-nitrophenyl ethers into substituted 3,4-dihydro-2H-1,4-benzoxazines in a single synthetic operation.
