Abstract

Abstract The MeOH extract from the flowers of Bellis perennis was found to show pancreatic- lipase inhibitory activity (IC 50 455 μg/ml). From the extract, seven new triterpene saponins named perennisaponins G (1; IC 50 163 μ M), H (2; 137 μ M), I (3; 147 μ M), J (4; 148 μ M), K (5; 223 μ M), L (6; 81.4 μ M), and M (7; 195 μ M) were isolated as pancreatic lipase inhibitors.
