Abstract A method for synthesis of β-(3, 5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl) propionic hydrazide. Certain chemical properties of the product were studied. It was found that β-(3, 5-di-tert-butyl- 4-hydroxyphenyl) β-(3, 5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl) hydrazide is highly susceptible to oxidation.
